Sentinel is a “micro” pistol red dot sight with an RMSC footprint designed for use on micro handguns. These sights are available in either red or green illumination, with options for automatic or manual illumination. The 16mm window, paired with a durable, thin hood, provides a wide field of view, making it easier to transition from target to target. Constructed from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, Sentinel is built to withstand tough conditions and is optimized for everyday carry (EDC) use. Sentinel is the edge in shooting accuracy you’ve been looking for.
ALWAYS READY
Pistol red dots have become a standard in EDC for good reason. Many handguns now come with an option for an optic cut from the factory. These simple upgrades offer an advanced and faster method of aiming compared to standard iron sights. When paired with the appropriate height iron sights, you get the best of both worlds.
AUTOMATIC
The Sentinel is offered from Night Fision in the automatic red emitter, with 10 illumination settings to accommodate a variety of lighting conditions.
The automatic version has a light-sensitive sensor on the left side of the optic that will automatically adjust to the optimal illumination setting based on the current lighting environment. The Sentinel automatic variants do not include the Shake N’ Wake feature as the light-sensitive sensor is always active and does not allow for shut off.
ILLUMINATION LIFE
The Sentinel’s emitter projects a 3 MOA dot in either red or green. To maintain a durable construction for the optic body, the battery compartment is located on the bottom of the housing. This bottom-loading design, as opposed to a top-loading or side tray system, has allowed for extended battery life using a CR2032 battery. You can expect two years of real-world battery life, even with everyday use.
A BUILD WORTH TALKING ABOUT
Many other red dots of similar size are made of more fragile materials such as plastic and polymers. Sentinel, on the other hand, is constructed from CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminum, hard-coated with a matte black finish. The multi-coated glass used in Sentinel is of the same quality used in our high-end long-range precision rifle optics ensuing you will have the best glass clarity we have to offer.
IF IT FITS, IT SITS
Sentinel’s design is specifically tailored to sub-compact and micro-compact handguns. Standing at approximately an inch tall, an inch wide, and 1.6 inches long, Sentinel is the smallest dot in our lineup. With a 16mm x 16mm window, the shooter has a wide field of view for acquiring the target quicker.
Sentinel is compatible with a wide range of firearms including the Glock 43x and Glock 48 MOS, Sig P365 XL, Springfield Hellcat OSP, Canik Elite SC, S&W Shield 2.0 Optics Ready, Walther PPS M2 Optics Ready, and many other slimline slides with an RMSc footprint.
PUT THROUGH THE PACES
One of the biggest drawbacks of mounting a red dot on some popular sub-compact handguns is the loss of rear iron sights. But not to worry, we’ve put Sentinel through rigorous testing to ensure its reliability. Sentinel has an IPX rating of 7 when used with the waterproofing plate and can withstand a shock rating of 1500 G, ensuring it will perform under tough conditions.
